Bathroom

The newly installed bathroom (1.75m x 1.35m, with an additional shower area 1m x 70cm) is finished in brilliant white ceramic tiles to all walls.

The ceiling has been papered with a relief paper in a plaster style finish and painted pale green, and coving has been fitted.

The shower area has a white ceramic shower tray, 1m x 70cm, and has a pivoting glass door.



The mixer unit is thermostatic, and there is an extractor fan fitted at ceiling height. The double switch for this controls one set of lights in the bathroom and the fan unit. This unit is programmed with a time delay to continue running after the lights are turned off.






The second set of lights is in a double wall unit with mirrored doors, mounted above the hand basin. Below this is a 3-door floor-standing unit with glass and brilliant white doors, and fitted with a solid wood top. On this are the hand basin, a modern white ceramic unit, and a chrome pillar mixer tap.

The floor is finished in green slate pattern ceramic floor tiles, and is on two levels to make access to the shower area easier and safer for children and/or the less physically able.

There are two power outlets, one in the wall unit above the hand basin, and one on the opposite wall.

A ladder style, oil-filled towel rail / heater is mounted on one wall, and this is a multi-function programmable unit that can be used as a towel drier, for low-level background heating, or as a room heater when required.

The window, looking onto the pétanque area, is double glazed UPVC in white.
