Local Area

To quote the local website: : “A charming Provençal resort, Six Fours les Plages shows you what living is like in the south between the forest and the sea. There are 18km. of coastline cut up into sandy beaches and secretive inlets, little harbours and protected forests.”

The local website is still in the process of being developed, but is very useful in that it is part of the “Provence Web Guide Touristique” which gives a lot of good information about Provence Alpes Côte D’Azur.

We are situated on the Mediterranean coast in the Department of Var, but there is much more to this area than “sun, sea, and sand”.

Sanary market is one of the largest in the region. Wednesday is the main market day, when the whole town is bustling, and the pavement cafes are full of people enjoying a drink with friends and watching the world go by.
